A 16-year-old boy named Tajudeen Azeez, lured his 4 year old neighbour to a primary school in the Ijaniki area of Lagos, stabbed him, strangled him and removed his intestines, his kidney and cut off his penis. He did because a man named Osho had approached him and asked him to get him fresh human parts and would pay him N50,000. N50,000 is what a human is worth to some. N50k. Unbelievably sad!

"At first, I did not want to succumb to the temptation but it kept coming. When I woke up this morning (Monday), I saw Ibrahim at the back of the house. I told him to escort me to a primary school not too far from the house. The name of the school is Anglican Primary School, Ijanikin. He followed me to the place and on arrival there, I stabbed him with a knife from behind. He fell down and I strangled him with a rope. I then cut his stomach open with the knife. I am sorry for what I did,”

He was of course caught and made to carry the deceased body. The photo is extremely graphic so please be warned before you continue...



 Tajudeen has been arrested by the Lagos state police command according to a report by Daily Trust and is currently at the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Yaba.

 According to the acting police public relations officer for the Lagos Command, Patricia Amadin, the body of the deceased has been deposited at a government mortuary. She said Tajudeen was arrested following intelligence information.

“Based on the strength of the information, the DPO and his men raced to the place. On arrival, they found the lifeless body of a four-year-old boy while the suspect was soaked in the deceased’s blood. From close observation, it was discovered that some vital organs such as the kidney and intestine had been removed from the deceased. All the organs were kept in a black nylon bag. The suspect was promptly arrested and taken to the station,” Amadin said. She saidthey are now looking for the said Osho

US vows to pressurize Nigeria to legalize gay marriage

The US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Linda Thomas-Greenfield (pictured above) has stated that they would continue to pressurize Nigeria until it legalizes same sex marriage. She made this known on Monday July 13 during a live-web chat with journalists in Washington.
"As a government, it is one of the highest priorities and strongest values that discrimination against anyone based on their sexual orientation and gender identity is wrong. We believe human rights should be available to everybody. As a policy, we will continue to press the government of Nigeria, as well as other governments which have provided legislation that discriminate against the LGBT community. This is very much a work in progress, but I think you will agree with me that the law in Nigeria really went far in discriminating against this community but also people who associate with them. So, we will continue to press the government, to press the legislature to change these laws and provide human rights for all Nigerian people regardless of their sexual orientation. With what is happening in the US, you can determine how far we are willing to go. We strongly believe human rights for all people and we are particularly opposed to legislation that actually targets the gay community for discrimination. Nigerian embassy in Saudi Arabia snubs president Buhari's family?

That is what Leadership newspaper is claiming. According to the report, the Nigerian embassy in Saudi Arabia this week side-stepped protocol by giving preference to former Vice President Namadi Sambo and his entourage of 15 family members over that of President Buhari when both arrived for the lesser Hajj (Umrah) in Saudi Arabia.

The Umrah is performed by Muslims from all over the world who converge on the holy city of Mecca to observe the ritual, which can be undertaken at any time of the year but mostly observed during Ramadan.

The pilgrims perform a series of worship activities symbolising the lives of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his second wife, Hajara.

Leadership gathered that both families arrived in Saudi Arabia this week for Umrah and while Aisha Buhari and her five children were allotted two-bedroom accommodation, the former vice president was allotted an eight-room apartment.

Leadership also learnt that while not a single protocol officer and vehicles were posted by the embassy to attend to the president’s family, a protocol officer and vehicles from the embassy were attached to the former vice president and his family.

An embassy source revealed that Buhari’s wife had travelled to Saudi Arabia via Emirate Airline instead of the presidential jet, as was the practice in the previous administrations, and had decided to seek alternative accommodation by herself at her own expense, to accommodate her and her children.
However, it was gathered that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided an official vehicle to convey the Nigerian president’s family around as it is done for the families of all visiting heads of state.

The source further revealed that the consular-general, Ahmed Umar, still sees himself as being more beholden to the former vice president than anyone else because Sambo it was that was instrumental to his elevation and posting to Saudi Arabia. He still sees himself basically as Sambo’s protege, a staff member of the embassy told Leadership.

The source added that even the two-bedroom apartment allotted to the president’s family was a result of the efforts of the ambassador, Alhaji Abubakar Bunu, and not the consular-general.
While the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was in power, Buhari and his family were denied any privileges by the Nigerian embassy in Saudi Arabia, even those due to a former head of state because he was in the opposition.

Sambo and his family had last year embarked on a widely publicized Umrah.

On the 30th of June, 2015, one of the best INEC chairman the nation has ever had, Prof. Attahiru Jega, retired of his job as the Chairman of the commission. He had earlier stated before that day that, once he retires as the chairman, he’d resume to School classrooms to Lecture.
Well, Jega, a man of integrity, did fulfill his word as he is spotted here on the campus of Bayero University Kano, where he is going to be teaching Political Science.
He resumed to the school today, 6th of July, 2015.

Kiss Daniel’s Camp Reacts to Debt Allegation

We Fed you reports about how the supposed winner of Kiss Daniel’s competition went to rant on instagram claiming the ‘Laye’ crooner and his camp has refused to pay up his $3000 wins for winning the ‘Woju Competition’
Apparently, Kiss Daniel’s Team has rubbish all such allegations.
Kiss Daniel’s camp says they were surprised after Byno, the winner resulted to ranting since he said he did not want the money but a record deal.
The NET caught up with Kiss Daniel’s manager Louisa Williams who responded by saying:
‘As regards the Woju Competition, when Byno was announced the winner, he came to us begging that he doesn’t want the money, rather he wants us to sign him because he was not signed to a record label. At that time we explained to him that we aren’t signing new acts because we had just signed a new act ‘Sugarboy’ that we are planning to launch and he was fine with it. So we are really surprised at his rants.’

Sports Barcelona sign Atletico Madrid star

Barcelona has completed the signing of Atletico and Turkish international midfielder Arda Turan. The attacker signed a five-year deal for a fee that could reach €41 million.

A club statement said that Barcelona will pay an initial fee of €34m with a potential €7m more in bonuses.
The 28-year-old Turkish international has been a key player in Diego Simeone’s Atletico side in recent seasons after arriving in Spain from Galatasaray in 2011.
And Barcelona said that coach Luis Enrique had requested the signing as the Catalan club look to strengthen their midfield following the departure of long-serving Xavi Hernandez.
However, he arrives at the Camp Nou at a time of uncertainty, with a board running club affairs until elections for a new president are held on July 18.

Photos: EFCC returns €10,000 euros to french victim of love scam

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered and returned the sum of 10,000 Euros (Ten Thousand Euros) about Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira), to F. Mercade, a French citizen, who was victim of internet love scam.

The fund was wired to the victim through his account in France on the recommendation of the French Embassy in Nigeria.

 

Roger Balima, French Police Liaison Officer who confirmed the receipt of the funds by the victim, thanked the EFCC “for the good job.”

Mercade was duped by two internet fraudsters, Omodara Adedapo Oluseye and Adesuyi Ayodeji Adedapo after he was deceived into a phantom relationship that was supposedly alter-bound.
The scam was reported to the Commission via a petition from the French Consulate in Lagos, on behalf of Mercade.

The petitioner alleged that he met a Nigerian beauty by name, ‘Kate Williams’ on the internet sometime in 2009 and they developed a relationship which was to culminate in marriage.
‘Williams’ was to relocate to join Mercade in France, to consummate the relationship.

While Mercade planned the logistics of the relocation, ‘Williams’ who purportedly did some jobs for an unnamed company in Nigeria, came up with a story that the company refused to pay ‘her’ for job done. ‘She’ sought the assistance of Mercade and the ‘couple’ contacted a lawyer named ‘James Robert’, to procure traveling documents and also help her claim money from the company owing her.
Mercade parted with the sum of 25,000.00 Euros, through Western Union, in processing his brides’ passage with no bride in sight. Eventually, it dawned on him that he had been scammed.

Investigations into the matter by the Commission revealed that ‘Kate Williams’ is the pseudonym of Omodara Adedapo Oluseye, a male student of the College of Agriculture, Akure, who, however, resides in Ibadan Oyo state.

Omodara’s accomplice, Adesuyi Ayodeji Adedapo, assisted in collecting the money transferred by the victim from the Akure, Ondo State branch of a new generation bank, using forged drivers’ license.

The duo were prosecuted on a two count charge  of conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretences before a Federal High Court Lagos, convicted and sentenced on 13th June 2011, to one year imprisonment each without an option of fine.
